What is AI Crawl Tester?
Robots.txt is necessary but not sufficient. Many sites pass the robots.txt test but still block AI crawlers at the edge (Cloudflare, WAF rules), in their CMS, or through JavaScript-rendered content AI bots cannot parse. The AI Crawl Tester actually fetches your page as each AI crawler and reports the real-world result — including whether the content renders for bots or only for humans.
How it works
Enter your page URL
We fetch the page using a real HTTP client mimicking each AI crawler's User-agent.
Test 5 AI crawlers
GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, and CCBot — see HTTP status, response size, and whether content rendered.
Detect JS-rendering gaps
We compare the raw HTML (what bots see) to the rendered DOM (what humans see) and flag missing content.
Get a fix plan
For each blocked or partial-fetch we tell you the most likely cause (edge rule, CMS setting, JS dependency) and the fix.
